The club had been pretty quiet so far, Rhea had probably shown up too early. She preferred to get there once there were already more people inside, both so she’d be less memorable and they’d be more drunk. She’d ordered a drink as to fit in, but it sat untouched in front of her. Scanning her somewhat empty surroundings she was starting to feel a bit self-conscious, playing with the straw in her drink. The dark blue velvet dress was tighter than she would’ve liked, but she figured it fit her purpose the best.
The weight loss caused by illness and later on the Embrace had left her perhaps a little too skinny, something that she usually tried to hide by not wearing skin-tight clothing. However, she’d found that skin-tight usually worked better when trying to get her next meal to invite her home. Skin-tight and lots and lots of alcohol in their system. Sure, she usually ended up drunk after such a meal, but the chance of them remembering her or at least remembering anything out of the ordinary about their previous night was rather low.
She still didn’t feel comfortable with this part of her existence, especially not when they touched her, but it was the best way she knew to still get a proper Vessel and not have to feed off of an animal while remaining inconspicuous. At this rate she was probably going home empty handed though, because she was feeling increasingly uncomfortable.

I am a lion with a lamb's heart. At least I'll tell you I love you as I devour your soul.
One would think that since Bellamy was a bartender and spent most of her time in bars because of it, that she wouldn't get caught seen in one when it was her time off. That couldn't be further from the truth. Bellamy had never been the type who enjoyed having too much free time on her hands. She was easily bored and didn't like staying still for too long. Which was how she found herself out drinking.
The girl at the bar wasn't hard to notice. For one, she was wearing a dress so tight she might not have worn anything at all - which immediately got Bellamy's stamp of approval. Secondly, she looked sort of lonely and uncomfortable, too. And Bellamy could have none of that, of course. A girl that pretty should never feel either of those things.
Moving towards the bar, Bellamy placed herself right next to the blonde. Snapping her fingers to the bartender, Bellamy spoke up the second he looked her way. "Two sour greens - one for me and one for my new friend over here." She jerked her thumb in the blonde's direction. Did she care that the girl had barely touched her own drink? Of course not. With that, Bellamy turned her attention towards the blonde, a huge grin spreading across her lips. "Honey, you're way too pretty to look this uncomfortable." She said, but quickly continued, "You should be out there dancing the night away."

Rhea was about to tell the bartender there was no need for two drinks, that she was just about to leave, when the brunette turned to address her. It had been long enough since her last meal that she couldn’t blush, but if she could have she would have at the girl’s words. “I- um- Thank you?” The words came out sounding more like a question than anything else. Averting her eyes from the pretty stranger, she gave a huff of a laugh. “I’m not much of a dancer.”
Not wanting to be rude, she took a sip of the drink the bartender placed in front of her. She usually didn’t drink when she went out anymore, not in the shape of regular alcoholic beverages anyway. Surprised to find the taste wasn’t half bad, she gestured to the drink: “You have to let me get the next one.”

"No one is." Bellamy fired back with practiced ease. She turned around, her back against the counter as she gestured towards the dance floor. "I mean, just look at them. Most of them look like drunk monkeys."
Turning her head to the side at the blonde once more, Bellamy grinned. "Deal." Hey, who in their right mind said no to a free drink anyway?
"Though, unless you want me to unleash my inner beast, I'll ask you not to buy me tequila." She offered with a wink as she reached for her own drink. Taking a deep swig off of it, Bellamy let out a satisfied sigh. Tequila always made her act a little more... Forward than what she normally was. Which most people didn't think was possible.

”I suppose so,” Rhea conceded with a glance towards the dancefloor. None the less she usually felt out of place, unless she was well and truly wasted. Which didn’t really happen these days, not that it had happened particularly often before either.
“I know a thing or two about those. Vodka it is.” She turned to the bar, flagging down the bartender to order two shots of the stuff. When she used to go out as a human, the few times she had, she preferred to go in for the stronger stuff. More bang for your buck, so to say. She didn’t think her original intention for going out was in the cards anymore, but she could try to have fun. Going out clubbing was what people her age were supposed to do for fun, right? “The night is still young anyway. Plenty of time to have tequila later.”

A victorious smile spread across Bellamy's features when the blonde caved. Everyone looked stupid when they had been drinking. That was just a fact. There was nothing to worry about.
A laugh bubbled past her lips at that: She was starting to like this chick — at least now that she seemed to allow herself a moment to just be. "Now, that's more like it."
Resting her elbow against the counter, Bellamy offered the blonde her undivided attention as they waited for their next drinks. Lifting the drink she had already ordered to her lips, Bellamy took a deep swig of the sour liquid. "I still expect at least one dance and I aim to collect, too." Hey, there was little point in beating around the bush.
