She had a whiskey-sipping, skinny dipping smile.
Perhaps one of the most ironic things about having lived in Seattle all his life was how little of the city Ash had actually seen. While he had a few days off here and there, he generally spent very few of them exploring the city. Sure, he knew the city well enough from his job, but that didn't change the fact that there was still a lot of buildings he'd never visited before, one of which towered before him right now.
The Central Library was considered the flagship in Seattle's public library and he had never set a foot inside before. He wasn't much for reading and had no intention of actually stepping inside, but at least he'd come this far and could scratch that mark off his list. At least it'd make his sister happy, so there was that.
Shielding his eyes from the sun as he gazed at the giant, but admittedly pretty building before him he could easily understand why this place was so popular.
Gazing down at the pamphlet in his hands, Ash furrowed his brows. On it was a map of Seattle which pinpointed all the places one should visit in Seattle when visiting. It offered short descriptions of each location, too.
The map proved rather inaccurate and impossible to read, however. Turning it left, then right and then finally - upside down, he let out something of a frustrated sigh before walking towards the nearest trash can with every intention of throwing the pamphlet away. Had there not been so many people around, he might have sworn at it and made a little show of throwing it away.
If only.
Besides, it was obvious enough that he felt lost - to think that he could feel so disoriented in his own city.
