Thalia Grace
The world has been the playground and battleground for gods, titans, giants and monsters alike for millennia.
Mortals have been swept up and exterminated within the many grudge matches that immortals fought between each other. Each race of immortals has brought some kind of trouble to the world. Even the ones ruling it. The only mercy was that each enemy force had their moment of warfare at different points in history. Their forces were a single focus for the gods and demigods alike at the time. But not now.
Gaia is awake and she is not alone.
Thanatos has been captured and taken far from his duty. The Doors of Death have been opened, allowing Gaia's children: the titans and the giants, to return along with the worst monsters history and legend have to offer. All of them with a grudge against Olympus and the gods who defeated them all those millennia ago.
Mount Othrys is rebuilding on Mount Tamalpais and San Francisco is growing even more infested with monsters than ever before. Kronos is gathering the Titans as well as demigods to his command with the promise that they will topple Olympus and create a better world for themselves. But in doing this, Kronos is only interested in serving the interests of the Titans and this has put him at odds with Gaia.
The giants, on the other hand, plan to rise up and help restore their mother to her full power. They resent the ambitions of the Titans and have now sworn to defeat Kronos and their older brethren as well as the Olympians and their allies. Each giant is planning their vengeance on the gods they were created to destroy.
Olympus now faces two exceptionally powerful threats in the titans and the giants; the combined danger like nothing this world has seen before. Now they must look to their children in the two demigod camps and the rest of the world for their help in the coming war, to swell their forces and work together to take down their enemies. Fate has dictated that the demigods must work to help defeat the giants and fortune will decide if the demigods can stand up against the Titans too.
But with the gods' greatest enemies trying to lure the demigods away with reminders of how the gods have left them down, will they be willing to stand up for their parents or will they punish them by allowing Olympus to be razed to the ground?
